Pizza Pizza Tournament - Whitby

The Flames Novice LL finished their season by participating in the Annual OMHA Pizza Pizza Tournament in Whitby!
We travelled to Whitby to play our local rivals the Midland Centennials #1 and played a great game. Although we did not win that game, the coaches provided the players an opportunity to play various positions.
The team had a great evening as a team and we had lots of fun celebrating #19 Joshua L. birthday!
Saturday started off with a game against Napanne Stars and #8 Kyle B and #31 Ryan C switched jersey's and #8 had his first official game between the pipes! #44 Owen D got his first goal of the Season and his first ever goal as a Penetang Flame - His grand-mother had a tear in her eye! The game ended in a tie.
The final game of the tournament saw the Flames scoring like never before against the home town hosts the Whitby Northstars. #15 Elliot d. got a hat trick....however no one wanted to give away their hats, but I heard mom was throwing one around at home! #44 Owen got his second career goal, #91 got one last one for the season, along with #44 Finn B.
The tournament was a great way to finish the year and a great time had by all. Thank you all once again for a great season!
