Game 13 for the Penetang Flames – Novice LL wins against Elmvale #2
What a way to end 2014 – the Flames won against the Coyotes 4-3 in Elmvale.
The first period was well played by both teams and neither team managed to get a point on the score board. But the Flames turned it on in the second and took the lead thanks to a great pass from #15 Elliot d. to #17 Spencer P. who got the first and second goal in the period. The Flames continued to play a great game with a few new faces on offence #8 Beatty K. and #15 Elliot d. who worked hard and #15 Elliot d. scored his first game of the season!
Going into the third with a 3 – 0 lead, the Coyotes worked hard and came back to score three to tie things up! The Flames feeling the pressure responded and #91 Noah B. scored off the face-off unassisted and put the Flames up by 1. Both team played hard and thanks to the great work of our 4 defence men ( #44 Owen, #93 Landon, #53 Brennan and #3 Chad and strong goal tending by #31 Ryan C. the Flames won the game, despite the pressure of Elmvale pulling their goalie with one minute left to play.
