Flames suffer tough loss in Oro
Midway through the third period, the Penetanguishene Foodland bantam local league Flames looked to be in control of their road contest against the Oro Thunder.
They had overcome a one-goal deficit to lead 2-1, and were keeping the Thunder pinned in their own end for extended stretches.
But hockey is a funny game that has a way of turning on a dime, and the home side scored twice in a three-minute span to prove the point and win the contest.
Stephen Lefaive and Marcel Dorion scored for the Flames, who are now 4-4-1 on the Georgian Bay Triangle Local League season. Dylan Lortie and Gavin Marion picked up assists for Penetang.
