Important Tryout Information & Registration
Submitted By Duane Homick on Mon 09 20, 21
If you plan to attend Rep/AE tryouts this year, you must register in advance.

Tryout Registration

The Penetang Arena is currently allowing only 30 participants on the ice at this time.  To ensure we do not have more people attend tryouts than we can fit on the ice, we are requiring everyone who wants to attend tryouts to register and pay in advance.

To register for tryouts, please submit the form found here:  https://forms.gle/xWT6pRn8xbmonoDC9

In addition to submitting the form, please arrange for payment to be made via e-transfer to [email protected]  Include the player's name and division in all payments.  Tryout fees are $60 regardless of trying out for Rep, AE or both.

This MUST be completed before Thursday, September 23rd at Midnight.

Selection Announcements

All team selection announcements this year will be posted to the PMHA website.  To ensure the anonymity of the players, all participants will be given a unique and random number when they check in for their first tryout.  Team selections will then be posted to the website and will list the players using these unique and random numbers rather than their names.

All players attending the Rep tryouts will be guaranteed a minimum of 2 tryouts.  Coaches will give instruction to the parents/players as to when they should expect that the selections to be posted throughout the tryout process.

Facility Requirements

At this time, we are still utilizing the stands for players to get ready for their on-ice sessions.  We recommend that all players come to the tryouts dressed or get dressed in the parking lot.  We do not anticipate that we will have access to the dressing rooms by the time tryouts start on Friday but we will let you know if anything changes.

As of Sept 22, all spectators and anyone over the age of 17 will be required to show proof of vaccination to enter the facility.  Please be respectful of this rule and follow the direction of the arena staff at the door.

Note:  All players are allowed 1 parent spectator in attendance who must follow all arena guidelines regarding masks and social distancing.
