Bantam Reps To Play Ingersoll in OMHA Finals
Submitted By Duane Homick on Saturday, March 9, 2019
Our Bantam Reps have advanced to the OMHA Finals with a sweep of Mitchell in the semi-finals and will now face the Ingersoll Express in a must-see Bantam B Final.

With the sweep, the Bantam Reps are now 12-0 in the playdowns and have swept all four of their series on the way to the finals.  They outscored their opponents 58-18 in those 12 games.  The Flames were also 18-0-2 during the regular season that saw them easily capture top spot in their division.

Their opponent, the Ingersoll Express are 9-1 in the OMHA playdowns with 3 shutouts and have only given up more than 2 goals in a game only once in that stretch.  The Express were 17-1-2 during their regular season with only 20 goals allowed as they also won their division title.

These teams have squared off once before.  In the finals of the Wasaga Regional Silver Stick, the Flames beat the Express 3-2 to capture the title.  Following that victory, the Flames went on to win the International Silver Stick in Forest, ON in January.

With two great well-matched teams, this promises to be another great series.

Good luck Flames!
