Novice Reps To Play Stirling in OMHA Finals
The Novice Reps punched their ticket to the OMHA finals with an 8-1 victory over South Muskoka last night and they will now face the Stirling Blues in what promises to be an epic series between two formidable teams.
With the 8-1 win last night, Penetang completed the series sweep over South Muskoka outscoring them 31-2. This was their 3rd series sweep in a row and their 9 straight OMHA playoff game victory. They have outscored opponents 78-5 in those 9 games and never trailed once.
Not to be outdone, the Stirling Blues have been equally as dominant. They went 10-0 in their Round Robin quarterfinals before sweeping Lindsay in the Semi-Finals by a combined score of 28-5.
Both teams had perfect 20-0-0 regular seasons and sport perfect playoff records heading into the finals.
