Bantam Reps Capture Regional Silver Stick

Congratulations to the Paul Watson Esso Bantam Rep team on their win at the Wasaga Beach Regional Silver Stick.

The Flames started off strong with two round robin wins on Friday - a 5-1 win over host Wasaga Beach Stars and an 8-4 win over the Parry Sound Shamrocks.  This earned the flames top spot in group A and a bye into the semi-finals.

On Saturday, the Flames easily won a rematch with the Shamrocks, 8-0, setting up a showdown on Sunday with the Ingersoll Express, also 3-0 in the tournament.

In Sunday's final, the Flames and Express gave it their all with the Flames prevailing 3-2 to capture the Regional Silver Stick championship and an invitation to International Silver Stick in Forest, ON on Jan 25-27.

Way to go Flames!  Congrats on your success this season and good luck at Internationals!
