Two PMHA Teams Crowned Caledonia Challenge Cup Champs
Submitted By Duane Homick on Sunday, October 14, 2018
Congratulations to our Novice Rep and Bantam AE squads for winning the Caledonia Challenge Cup this past weekend.

The Novice Rep team cruised through the round robin with a 3-0 record and took top seed in their pool.  Following a decisive 10-1 win in the semi-final over New Hamburg, they needed some overtime magic to get past three time defending champ Mt. Brydges in a thrilling tournament final, 5-4.

The Bantam AE team went 2-1 in the round robin losing by only a goal to Mooretown in their first game.  Finishing as the third seed, they faced off against the number two seed, Ancaster, in the semi-final, knocking them from the tournament with a 6-3 victory.  In the final, they once again faced Mooretown, but this time with a different result.  With a resounding 6-1 win, they took home the Challenge Cup!

Congratulations to both teams' players and coaches on their early season success.
