HINDSON MARINE BANTAMS WIN IRONMAN GAME
Submitted By cpattenden on Monday, March 6, 2017
Due to a combination of suspensions, injury and illness, the Hindson Marine Bantam Local League traveled to Collingwood on Tuesday night with only 5 skaters and a goalie.

The game was do or die with the winner advancing to the 'B' Division Consolation Final.

Penetang broke a 2-2 tie early in the third period and put up a stellar defensive effort the rest of the way to come away with a 3-2 victory over a Collingwood squad that dressed 14 skaters.

Playing all 40 minutes of the contest for Penetang were Aven Akerman in goal, Braydon Hindson and Jakob Callas on defense, and Evan Marchand, Ethan Moreau and Dante Morrison up front. Morrison paced the Penetang offense with a hat-trick.
