What an exciting game to
finish the season!
The final game of the season was a great one! The fans in the stands were very impressed with their Novice LL Flames! Game 20 of the regular season was full of excitement, great chances and great saves. Every team member stepped-up and worked hard to pass the puck, finish the plays and even put a few between the posts.
The first ten minutes of play were intense and neither team could find the back of the net. The Flames worked hard to keep the play in the Elmvale zone and had some great chances and break-a-ways. Tones of great saves by both goals, but #31 Ryan C. certainly was most impressive!
The Flames managed to hit the score board first, with a goal by #17 Spencer P. thanks to his line mats #10 Nathan G and #9 Trent W. Through the entire second period, the rest of the offence players #11 Drew F, #66 Finn B, #91 Noah B, #4 Aiden G, #19 Josh L and #13 Jackson C passed well and played well as a team.
Going into the third period with the lead, the Flames #17 with a great assist by #91 scored the second goal of the game. The team was excited and the fans went wild with excitement. The Coyotes did not give up and came back and scored two goals back to back to tie the game. The Flames drove hard at the Elmvale net, but with only a few seconds left could not come up with one other goal to take the game.
The defence players, #8 Kyle B, #44 Owen D, #93 Landon T, #15 Eliott d and #3 Chad C worked hard to defend the Penetang zone throughout the entire game.
Great game to end the 2014-2015 Regular Season – Well Done!
